Mothman Thesis Production Blog Week 41

This week I worked an incredible amount on shot specific lighting. This has truly tested my discipline and ability to turn out shots on a daily basis. Spending time building the master lighting for each time of day and set was an investment that I am finally seeing the returns on. Each shot only needed 1-3 shot specific lights or adjustments to existing lights to add key, fill, rim, or detail lights. It has significantly reduced the amount of time I would have spent per shot to recreate the lighting repeatedly.

Personal Professional News: WIA Mentorship

4/17/2024: Mentorship 1-on-1

I had my first one-on-one meeting with my mentor Areeba Rikhan and got a professional material review on my texture artist reel, my texture artist resume, and my website as a whole. I am excited to report that I got very few notes and overall my materials were received quite well. I am eager to implement the few tweaks that I was suggested on my website.
